Sailing / Boating / Fishing

My city is standing on the bank of Volga river, the biggest river in Europe. My childhood passed on its islands. Therefore all my hobbies bindes with water.

May be some times later, when I'll have some free time to get materials, maps I'll make a site, about Volga river. It'll be a site, devoted to history, geography, navigation and shipbuilding, but now I shows only some interesting moments of my life on the banks of Volga river.

When I was only 1 year and 10 months old, my parents took me to summer vacation. We have motorboat and at summer we lives at temporary camp at the Volga island. It was at 1973, and from this time we lives here every summer. You can look a photo of our camp in 1999 at the photo below.

In 1999 I was keep on sailing. By the way, I have no sailyacht yet, but I have good friends with sailyachts. I also have Daylight skipper's sailing license. And I dreams to buy or to build my own yacht and to sail around the world.

At Feb 06, 1996 I join Fidonet global network as 2:5053/15.6. Since that time I was a very active member of the net. At Oct 10 1996 I became node 2:5053/20 and open my own BBS, named Saturn Station BBS. When I found a job of system administrator in Intercom Plus company at March 1998, I became a network echomail coordinator (N5053EC) and Fido/Internet gate administrator. Some times ago I closed BBS, because I have not much time to administrate it as good as need. But I stay a FidoNet member and I try to keep the net alive in spite of Internet development.

The station is used only for my private purposes. I do not give any new point any more.
